PETER VULPERHORST (Marching Drums)

Peter Vulperhorst will feature the traditional marching styles we have here in Europe. Not for High tension drummers Drumcorps style!

Because there are so many different styles, with there own speciality, Peter Developed for Pasveerkorpsen a overall style. This Style covers a lot. That gives a nice crispy and fresh idea of playing in a traditional Show or Marching band like Pasveerkorps. Strong, fast, cool and aggressive!  Specially for strap style players. ( traditional grip)

For this workshop Peter will review this styles and work with the students on the needed techniques.

Because peter writes all the new modern pieces for Pasveerkops there is a possibility even to work on this repertoire.

Technique is the basic for the workshop.

Of course when you play Bassdrum, tenors/tim-toms, bongo’s ore other Latin percussion  just as  Pasveerkops uses, will also be great.

Just bring all your instruments you use in your band.

In this weekend we will work on a total piece for everything what will be available. But!! Snare drumming will be a must!

That’s the fundament for all players!
